Participation in Hannover Messe 2017

FerroČrtalič presented the Robotic UHP Water De-coring Machine in the world's leading Trade Fair for Industrial Technology

In line with the dissemination plan of CORE 4.0 project, FerroČrtalič took part in ‘Hannover messe’, the world's leading Trade Fair for industrial Technology, which was held between 24th and 28th of April 2017. The exhibition booth was built around ‘Robotic UHP water de‐coring machine’ developed specifically for CORE 4.0 project and funded according to the Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) call of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Commission. FerroČrtalič team felt great interest and incitement of the visitors of the fair, which were very intrigued by the equipment dedicated to de‐coring of aluminium closed deck blocks.

Upon welcoming the guests FerroČrtalič team presented the aim of the project and outlined the required efforts to develop and bring into the market aluminium closed deck engine blocks produced by the High Pressure Die Casting Lost Core technology. Meanwhile discussions (which were very much facilitated by the leaflet prepared by Tecnalia) and sharing views on the CORE 4.0 project goals, additional information were provided to the guest at the exhibition booth regarding the synergistic contributions of the consortium partners.

Briefly, the booth was visited by ca. 200 guest, among which we distributed 150 leaflets containing information about CORE 4.0 project. The guests were mainly from foundry industry sectors and were looking for advanced surface treatment technologies.
